Odaily Planet Daily News World Liberty Financial co-founder Zak Folkman responded at Consensus Hong Kong 2025 to the question 'Is the WLFI Token sale a failure?' by saying that the public sale amount is not very important, it is more of a marketing behavior to connect with the community. World Liberty Financial has had no VC support from day one, and retail participants were initially concerned about the valuation and fundraising target of the project, but quickly reached various milestones. (Note by Odaily: According to the official website, WLFI has sold 24.3 billion tokens at a price of $0.05 each, raising over $1.2 billion.) Zak also stated that WLFI is both a governance token and has utility, and trading (swap) has not yet been opened, do not believe unofficial news.
