According to Techub News and Bitcoin Magazine, Bow Valley Credit Union (BVCU) has launched the country's first "Bitcoin Gateway" service, allowing residents of Alberta to purchase Bitcoin directly through their bank accounts. This service is supported by the Balance accomplice platform and Bull Bitcoin exchange, enabling users to buy physical Bitcoin with fiat through the BVCU app and enjoy full ownership. Established in 1953, BVCU continues its tradition of challenging the conventional banking industry with this innovation. The new service is currently limited to Alberta residents, but the CEO of Balance revealed that it will be opened to users across Canada in the future.
