Previously, news revealed that the Canadian publicly traded company Universal Digital announced the launch of a Bitcoin reserve strategy, planning to gradually reduce its existing altcoin holdings and convert them into Bitcoin. The company has signed a non-binding cooperation memorandum with GFA, a publicly traded company in Tokyo, Japan, to jointly design a Bitcoin reserve plan for publicly traded companies in Asia. According to the agreement, the parties will explore constructing a Bitcoin reserve model for Japanese publicly traded companies, developing warrants and other financing tools for Bitcoin acquisition, and improving the digital asset custody framework.
