Runestone Airdrop Project Details: Eligibility, Rules, and Important Information
The Runestone rune project is about to Airdrop, read this article to learn important information
Recently, a new rune project called Runestone has attracted market attention. This project is inspired by the previous $RISC rune Airdrop, but adopts a more equitable distribution method. Let’s take a look at the key information about Runestone.
Project Origin
Runestone is an experimental project initiated by a well-known developer in the Ordinals ecosystem. The developer believes that the distribution method of $RISC is unfair because it only airdropped to a select group of Bitcoin blue-chip NFT holders, and the team reserved 10% of the allocation. To address this, he decided to create Runestone and conduct a free airdrop to the Ordinals community. The project team raised $70,000 from the community as funding for the airdrop.
Airdrop Rules
Runestone has completed a snapshot at block height 826,600 (coinciding with the first anniversary of Ordinals). The total supply is 110,000, with a maximum of one per address. The airdrop will be conducted in the form of inscriptions, and once the rune protocol is developed, holders can exchange them 1:1 for Runestone runes.
The eligibility criteria for Airdrop are as follows:
Meaning of Symbols
The symbol "ᛤ" used in Runestone originates from Anglo-Saxon runes, and its specific meaning is currently unclear. The word "Rune" means "secret" in Greek and is said to have been created by Odin, the chief god in Norse mythology. This rune can be traced back to the year 101 AD and is still associated with a wealth of esoteric knowledge.
Precautions
Currently, the preliminary Airdrop list for Runestone is available for inquiry, but this is not the final version and updates may follow. As the rune ecosystem continues to develop, the launch of the Runestone project provides more users with the opportunity to participate in the Ordinals ecosystem and opens up new directions for the exploration of rune technology.
