On the evening of June 13, 2022, a project named FSWAP fell victim to a hacker attack. The attackers attempted to profit by manipulating the asset ratios in the liquidity pool of the decentralized exchange. The hacker launched three attacks in total, but two of them were successfully intercepted by a blockchain security company, recovering about 3,500 WBNB for the project party. Currently, the security company is in contact with the project party to discuss the return of the intercepted funds.

In this attack incident, the interception system of the security company played a key role. From the on-chain transaction records, it can be seen that due to the existence of interception measures, certain transactions of the attacker ultimately ended in failure.

BlockSec successfully intercepted a hacker attack against FSWAP

This is not the first time that the security company has successfully prevented hacker attacks against blockchain projects. Previously, they have helped multiple projects, such as Saddle Finance, Equalizer Finance, and HomeDao, successfully fend off hacker intrusions, safeguarding over $5 million in digital assets from falling into the hands of hackers.

This security company focuses on the security assurance of the entire lifecycle of smart contracts, digital currency regulation, and anti-money laundering, as well as the security of blockchain architecture based on privacy computing. Most core team members hold master's or doctoral degrees from well-known universities and possess not only cutting-edge research backgrounds in academia but also practical experience from top security companies. Their research results have been published at several top security and systems conferences, attracting widespread attention in the industry.

The trading visualization platform developed by the company is widely used in the blockchain community. They independently discovered dozens of major security incidents in the blockchain, identified multiple key security vulnerabilities, and obtained over a million dollars in bug bounties. Through their efforts, several hacker attacks targeting blockchain projects were successfully prevented, saving the project party from significant losses.
